Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low you can see the activation starter relay 2, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |

17589 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17589 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
