17555 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low and exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
17555 Possible Causes:
17555 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 17555 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
