17549 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty and linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17549 Possible Causes:
17549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17549 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
