Diagnosing engine bar with ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich and accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
17549 Possible Causes:
17549 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17549 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
