17533 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing signal for back-up lights, short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so valve for coolant system circuit, high or change valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17533 Possible Causes:
17533 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17533 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
