Staring in engine b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor bank 1, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g300), short-circuit to mass and evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
17531 Possible Causes:
17531 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17531 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
