The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault torque management feedback signal "a" retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start 'a' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off or change fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17524 Possible Causes:
17524 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17524 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
