This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so bank 1, system too rich at idle or exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 individual cylinder control, sensor dynamic too low is the final reason of the code. |
17523 Possible Causes:
17523 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 17523 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
