This code were stamped on VW Engine case a/c request b, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground . So for next diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
17512 Possible Causes:
17512 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17512 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
