17512 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles camshaft position signal output, circuit low or change fuel injection valve 1 (n366), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17512 Possible Causes:
17512 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17512 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
