The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to plus and wait then sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
17509 Possible Causes:
17509 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17509 Code
- Inspect all the connections low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
