This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

17494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17494 Code
- Inspect all the connections mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
