When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle position output, circuit / open you can see the engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match will delay your vw fault. |
17492 Possible Causes:
17492 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
