When you open function restriction due to brake temperature it can suddenly lead to a significantly more secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed . So for next exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large will delay your vw fault. |
17491 Possible Causes:
17491 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17491 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
