Accumulated in electronic control units so diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground you can see the vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17480 Possible Causes:
17480 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17480 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
