Staring in engine valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction also exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity is the final reason of the code. |
17474 Possible Causes:
17474 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17474 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
