17474 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 4 (n369), open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17474 Possible Causes:
17474 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17474 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
