Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system camshaft position signal output, circuit high also reversing light, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17473 Possible Causes:
17473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17473 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
