Accumulated in electronic control units so relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control module, internal circuit . On the other hand control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
17468 Possible Causes:
17468 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17468 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
