Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open and wait then o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17446 Possible Causes:
17446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17446 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
