17444 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance and turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty is the final reason of the code. |
17444 Possible Causes:
17444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17444 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
