This code were stamped on VW Engine case relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of steering angle sensor and wait then exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
17421 Possible Causes:
17421 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17421 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
