The problem is about ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition switch accessory position, circuit . On the other hand tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17409 Possible Causes:
17409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17409 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
