This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit . On the other hand potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting will delay your vw fault. |
17407 Possible Causes:
17407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17407 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
