This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle angle signal stuck off and powertrain data bus, missing message from instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
17407 Possible Causes:
17407 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17407 Code
- Inspect all the connections particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
