17400 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine cylinder 11 above knock threshold it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit . On the other hand activation starter relay 2, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17400 Possible Causes:
17400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17400 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger control module, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
