174 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 1 electrical error in the electric circuit and wait then rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
174 Possible Causes:
174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 174 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
