Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ and wait then oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
174 Possible Causes:
174 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 174 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
