This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more injector control pressure, too high - engine off and secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
17396 Possible Causes:
17396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
