The problem is about data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground or change ignition switch accessory position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17394 Possible Causes:
17394 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 17394 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
