The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start secondary air injection system bank 1, high air flow or change exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 4, out of range will delay your vw fault. |
17393 Possible Causes:
17393 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17393 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
