17393 Description And Summary : |

When you open please check dtc memory of transmission ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation or coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17393 Possible Causes:
17393 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17393 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust pressure sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
