17387 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit / open you can see the exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small will delay your vw fault. |
17387 Possible Causes:
17387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17387 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
