17381 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing coolant pump control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 or barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
17381 Possible Causes:
17381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17381 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
