17373 Description And Summary : |

When you open glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low and wait then drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17373 Possible Causes:
17373 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17373 Code
- Inspect all the connections different wheel speed signals, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
