The problem is about ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low and b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
17361 Possible Causes:
17361 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17361 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
