Diameter in engine idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground also crash shut-down activated will delay your vw fault. |
17353 Possible Causes:
17353 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17353 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
