The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low and data bus powertrain, missing message from steering angle sensor will delay your vw fault. |
17342 Possible Causes:
17342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17342 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from level control module (j197)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
