This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor actuator supply voltage "b", circuit low also b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17342 Possible Causes:
17342 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17342 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
