When you open cylinder 5 above knock threshold causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
17334 Possible Causes:
17334 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17334 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
