17318 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too small causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system relays for pump load air cooling (j536), interruption / short-circuit after mass and wait then exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, voltage too low is the final reason of the code. |
17318 Possible Causes:
17318 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17318 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
