Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed also bank 2, system too rich at idle is the final reason of the code. |
17312 Possible Causes:
17312 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17312 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
