17310 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off you can see the diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17310 Possible Causes:
17310 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17310 Code
- Inspect all the connections control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
