Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle position output, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction or throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm will delay your vw fault. |
17309 Possible Causes:
17309 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17309 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
