17308 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault power supply (b+) terminal 15, voltage too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance you can see the vehicle speed signal, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
17308 Possible Causes:
17308 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 17308 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
