The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, internal resistance too large or ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17301 Possible Causes:
17301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 17301 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
