This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'i' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of adr control module or change automatic glow time control module 2 (j609), circuit electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
17301 Possible Causes:
17301 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17301 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
