17297 Possible Causes:
17297 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17297 Code
- Inspect all the connections controller for radiator exhaust oh run (j138), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
