When you open engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
17293 Possible Causes:
17293 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17293 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
