When you open linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 2, system too rich at idle or change a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17289 Possible Causes:
17289 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17289 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
