Staring in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation will delay your vw fault. |
17287 Possible Causes:
17287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 17287 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit interruption
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
