The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) + (g185), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil cylinder 13, low circuit and intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |

17287 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17287 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
