17279 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', circuit low or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
17279 Possible Causes:
17279 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17279 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), lower limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
