This code were stamped on VW Engine case to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit electrical malfunction . On the other hand turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
17278 Possible Causes:
17278 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17278 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
