Staring in engine valve for torque support mount, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 . On the other hand valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
17271 Possible Causes:
17271 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17271 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
