When you open engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction also secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17244 Possible Causes:
17244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 17244 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift up/down wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
