17244 Description And Summary : |

When you open tiptronic switch down, circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low and wait then signal buzzer activation, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17244 Possible Causes:
17244 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17244 Code
- Inspect all the connections solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
