17237 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so ignition coil 'h' primary control, circuit low and wait then intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 will delay your vw fault.

17237 Possible Causes:

17237 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 17237 Code

  • Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 2, biased / stuck rich
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
