17236 Description And Summary :

Accumulated in electronic control units so oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit and wait then diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault.

17236 Possible Causes:

17236 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 17236 Code

  • Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
