Accumulated in electronic control units so oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system control module for coolant fan 3 fan activation, short circuit and wait then diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
17236 Possible Causes:
17236 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17236 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
