17230 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant fan (v7), open circuit and o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich is the final reason of the code. |
17230 Possible Causes:
17230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17230 Code
- Inspect all the connections cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
